Park & Tilford Gardens were originally designed Adrienne’s father, Harry J. Webb of Justice & Webb Landscape Architects, and were first opened to the public in January 29, 1969. When the property was rezoned in 1988, the gardens were incorporated into a new commercial development and the City of North Vancouver established a covenant requiring the gardens be maintained as a public amenity. This covenant is overseen by a Garden Review Board comprised of appointees from the City of North Vancouver, the property management company (BentallGreenoak) and one individual who remains at arm’s length to the two organizations. Adrienne joined the board in 2017.
