Riverside Drive Residence

This 1970s home on Riverside Drive was open to the street with no fenced area for the children. The view from the living room now looks out onto a courtyard garden with views through to the forest on the other side of the road. The tricycle circuit, inspired by Thomas Church’s California gardens doubles as a mowing strip and was dubbed “the egg” by the family. The corners of the new garden are anchored by a Japanese Maple and a Star Magnolia.
